Successful completion of the first 2 stages of the Adventures in
Space Program will automatically place you within a group of performers
who Pants on Fire are able to consider when casting for the
production. You will have an understanding of the company’s
work and the theatrical language used when creating performance and
we will have a very fully realised idea of how you work as a creative
performer. Casting is governed by the needs of each individual project
and cannot be automatically guaranteed, however, if you have reached
this stage, the chances of you becoming involved with a full-scale
production in the future are very high.
Previous Stage 3 Projects
- 2001 – CRACKERS! A devised piece involving 8 Adventures
in Space graduates.
- 2002 – NARCISSI. A devised piece involving 9 Adventures
in Space graduates. This performance was adapted into a short
film by Salon Films London.
- 2003 – THE TALE OF RANCOR. A devised piece involving
9 Adventures in Space graduates. The finished show toured
to the US to take part in the New York and Philadelphia Fringe
Festivals to high critical acclaim. www.peterbramley.com
- 2005 – 11 performers, who had all previously completed
the Adventures in Space training course were invited to
join the cast of TOSSED!
(William Shakespeare’s The Tempest) at The People Studios
in London.
- 2006/7 – Adventures in Space graduates joined
the cast of Pants on Fire's production of LABYRINTHINE.
Building a Community
Adventures in Space has also provided a meeting place for like-minded
artists and several companies have met, formed and branched off to
create their own work via this project.
Companies include: Rough
Cut Theatre, Bare Feet Theatre and Baby Elephants.
