Peter Bramley Peter Bramley
Artistic Director

Peter Bramley is Co-founder, Director and Artistic Director of Pants on Fire and has directed all of the company’s productions to date.

Peter was in the last group of final year students to ever have trained in Paris with Jacques Lecoq himself, graduating shortly after Lecoq’s death in 1999. Before that he studied Drama at the University of London. Other training
experiences include clown with Angela de Castro, work with the Gardzienice company in Poland and Teatr Piesn Kozla (Song of the Goat). Peter also has an MA in Theatre Practices (Rose Bruford College/University of Manchester).

Between 2001 and 2003 Peter lived in New York working with Blue Inc. Theatre,and touring productions extensively throughout North America and Canada*.

Peter worked for many years as a visiting Lecturer and teacher at Royal Holloway University of London, Brunel University, Central School of Speech and Drama,Goldsmiths College, Greenwich University and Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Abroad he has given workshops to both Soulpepper Theatre Company and Equity showcase in Toronto, Yale University in the USA and at the Moscow Arts Theatre in Russia.

Peter took up the post of Head of Movement at Rose Bruford College in February 2006. College productions include: The Visit, Blood Wedding, A Doll’s House, The Love of the Nightingale (Unicorn Theatre, London, Feb 2010) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Mabel Jones Mabel Jones
Artistic Director

Mabel graduated as an Actor from Rose Bruford College in 2009. She spends much of her time writing for and working with her puppet storytelling company Woodenfingers. She has also been involved in large-scale community projects in the UK and in Spain (Spiral Theatre Company).Theatre credits include; Original Sin (Haymarket Basingstoke), The Master and Margarita & Romeo and Juliet ( both with dir. Matt Wilde) Summer and Smoke (Rose Theatre) and The Visit (Barn Theatre).


Jonathan Davenport Jonathan Davenport

Since first appearing on stage in an amateur production of The Curious Savage at the age of only 5, Jonathan has followed a career in acting ever since. An inaugural member of the Hertfordshire County youth theatre and member of the National youth theatre, he also works as a professional magician performing for the Magic Circle and has helped as a magic consultant on theatre shows. In 2005 he co-founded The Village Idiots Theatre Company who have performed to sell-out audiences 5 years running at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with their own brand of mask theatre, and are currently on a UK tour with their latest show Screwloose. Johnathan graduated from Rose Bruford in 2009.


Joanne Dockery Jo Dockery

Jo trained at Rose Bruford where she was awarded the Lillian Baylis Bursary for the most promising drama student. Her theatre credits include: Metamorphoses (Pants on Fire, Greenwich Theatre & IYAF), Mad Monkeys and other Tales (Unicorn Theatre), Macbeth (Stafford Gatehouse Theatre Open air Shakespeare Festival), Life's a Dream (Blue Elephant Theatre), London Film School Showcase (ICA), Loyal Women, The Master and Margarita, The American Clock, Macbeth, Illyria, Herons (Rose Bruford). Film Credits include: Luceum Ferre (Short), Fixated (Top Wraight Film Productions). Radio Credits include: Woodgreen (Urban Scrawl). Jo recently returned from the USA as Assistant Director and Choreographer on a new Beatles musical, Strawberry Fields Forever (Premiered at the London Palladium).


Alex Packer Alex Packer
Core-Member

Alex recently graduated from Rose Bruford College. Recent credits include As You Like It (Festival Shakespeare Company, Brighton Fringe), My Second Life (Broken Leg, Nightingale Theatre) and Karamazoo (OnO Theatre, Brighton Fringe). Credits whilst training include Serious Money (Greenwich Theatre), The Master and Margarita and The American Clock (Rose Theatre). Radio includes ‘Southgate’ (Theatre 503).


Hannah Pierce Hannah Pierce
Core-Member

Since graduating from Rose Bruford College in 2009, Hannah has appeared in two rehearsed readings at the Arcola Theatre with Imploding Fictions, played Lynsey in Country Music at The Cockpit Theatre with Wrong Side of The Road and appeared in Bright Unconquered Sons at the Bankside Gallery with Part Of The Fever. Hannah is also busy with her own theatre company Made From Scratch, which she set up with fellow graduate actors.


Eloise Secker Eloise Secker

Eloise graduated as an Actor-Musician from Rose Bruford college in 2009. She was a runner-up in the 2009 BBC Carleton Hobbs Competition. Radio credits include: Gift (BBCRadio 4), Chain Gang (BBC Radio 7) Oakwood, Heathrow (Theatre 503/Urban Scrawl). Theatre credits include: Sweet Little Thing (Rose Theatre), Moll Flanders (New Players Theatre), American Clock (Rose Theatre) The Visit (Barn Theatre) Other People’s Music (BAC).
Ralph Stokeld Ralph Stokeld
Core-Member

Ralph has lit several theatre shows and has experience in a number of London venues. He works with an innovative style and blends colour, form and intensity to create unique and vivid pictures on stage. His work with Pants On Fire has succeeded in producing high quality pieces of exciting theatre and he has now worked on three plays in collaboration with Peter Bramley. Ralph works regularly in conjunction with theatre company The Fiasco Division on unconventional forms of theatrical exploration. He has also worked freelance on several projects and shows for dance, opera and architecture as well as theatre. Lighting Design credits include Metamorphoses (The King Dome, Edinburgh 2010), The Love of the Nightingale (The Unicorn Theatre, London 2010), Open Yarmouth (The Etcetera Theatre, London 2009) Morbid (The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, London 2009) and Blood Wedding (The Barn Theatre, London 2009).
